This case touches so many different people in so many situations. It could possibly have a disastrous effect on the North American Soccer League as the Chairman of their Board of Governors was one of the people named by the Department of Justice, and Traffic Sports - one of the main owners and backers of the league and certain teams over the years has already pled guilty.
How will this affect the USSF? How will the rest of CONCACAF react? What about CONMEBOL - where some of the other named individuals come from?
And clearly, this is just the beginning. The Swiss involvement points to a larger scope, as does the overall play from the FBI and the DOJ.
